(5/5) Easily the best mechanic in Cabo. Juan Carlos absolutely took care of us. We had rear differential problems and the bearings were shot on our 1994 Land Cruiser HZJ75. He came to our spot and helped put it back together. We got it to the shop, and found the parts incredibly fast. The price was fair, and I will definitely be doing more business with them.

(5/5) Finding an honest mechanic that does good work for a reasonable price is always hard. But I lucked out when I came across Juan Carlos and his team at Puro 4x4.I brought in my 1989 Mitsubishi Montero looking to improve the suspension and handling, knowing that it was going to be hard to find parts. But they were able to diagnose the issues fast and find the parts quickly and completely rebuilt the steering and suspension, as well as serviced the wheel bearings.They were also able to diagnose and fix a few other issues that they came across while working on the truck, even replacing some missing bolts free of charge because they just had them lying around!Take a look at the photos, but the wheel well of the truck looks brand new now, replacing all the bushings, as well as even cleaning and repainting all the components to reduce corrosion and rust in the future.They also have another shop that has all the overland gear that you could possibly want, no need to order the cheap stuff off Amazon!

(5/5) I had a Wilco swing hitch that had issues after its trip from Oregon to Los Cabos…long story short…sheared bolt, bent locking pin, etc. Puro 4x4 handed it back to me looking new at a very reasonable charge. Hopefully I won’t equally destroy it back on my way north!

(5/5) Juan Carlos is an expert on 4x4s. He had been a customer of mine (Nitro Gear) but I became a loyal Puro 4x4 when I was on a trip in Baja, he saved the day with a radiator repair. Great staff, grat people. Knowledgeable. If you have a 4x4 in BCS, please use Puro 4x4

(5/5) I snapped the transfer case shaft in my giant 4x4 sprinter van off-roading on the beach in Baja. The local dealer wanted 8 grand and 45 days to ship a new one from Germany. Puro 4x4 Jeep Shop came up with a creative and sturdy solution that got me back on the road within a week. Plus, they were very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend their service!

(5/5) Juan Carlos and his team at Puro 4x4 recently did work on our Jeep while my wife and I were traveling through the Baja in our RV. I must say, the Puro 4x4 team did a fabulous job from start to finish. I called Juan Carlos after finding his shop on Google to see if he wouldn't mind inspecting our Jeep due to the rattling and clanking noises we were hearing from inside the tire/shocks area...JC not only fixed the issues to stop the annoying noises but gave us an honest quote on additional work that needed to be done to our Jeep given our after market tires and lift kit. We ended up replacing the ball joints, tie rod, front axle u-joints sway bar and shocks/bushing links (all of which were original '16). While replacing those parts, they discovered the front driver side wheel bearing also needed replacing which was effecting our ABS as well. JC team's did a phenomenal job and after replacing these original parts our Jeep not only drives incredible but it is safe as well! I highly recommend JC and his team at Puro 4x4 if you are looking for an honest/hard working crew to work on your vehicle while in the Cabo area! Muchos gracias Juan Carlos and Puro 4x4!

Te hacen un diagnóstico preciso de cual es el problema y ye dan soluciones de la manera más rápida. Pero son aún más rápido en reparar la dolencia del automóvil y te lo entregan (casi) inmediatamente. (5/5) It was a pleasure doing business with Taller 4x4. I have a 30 year old Jeep and they refreshed the suspension and did a lot of additional work to help bring her back from the dead. JC is extremely knowledgeable and the quality of work is outstanding and they got it right the first time. They returned all my original parts. The price was very fair and they work quickly. I’m very emotional with my Jeep as I’m the original owner and it is like a brother to me. Would have no reservation trusting my Jeep with the Taller 4x4 team and you should feel lucky you found them!

If you are having suspension issues with anything while in Cabo area this is a very solid top notch team to bring your truck or jeep too.Great experience!!! Had some death wobble scares and brought it in to this shop. I was a little worried finding it but so glad I did. They offered options there that I have never been offered or talked to about. They were able to not only stop the issue but the jeep has never rode like this before and I've brought it to top socal shops. These guys rock!
